ECD Dancer Survey #2

Information on the all dancers survey done for the society will be posted just after the ECD dance on February 5.

This is the second survey, performed by the English Country Dance Committee, on dancers who have not danced in 2022.

On page 1 (below), the software cut off the full wording of questions in order to display the bar graph. Here is the full text of each statement that matches up with the bar graph.

  1. Check if applicable.
    • I no longer live in the greater Sacramento area. (If you check this box, please skip all of Question 2.)
  2. Check ANY that apply.
    • I’m not coming to dances due to the continued health risk (COVID, flu, etc.)
    • I’m not coming to dances due to the mask requirement
    • I’m not coming to dances due to the vaccination requirement
    • I’m not available on Sunday afternoons but would dance if the day/time changed
    • I’m no longer interested in English Country dancing
    • I don’t prefer the callers who have been programmed this year
    • The dances are too hard
    • The dances are too easy
    • I would come but I lack transportation
    • I would come in warm weather if dancing were outdoors

Information on the all dancers survey done for the society will be posted just after the ECD dance on February 5.

The English Country Dance Committee did two surveys of dancers, the first, presented here, of dancers who have come to at least once dance since the pandemic. The second, of dancers who have not come to a dance yet, will be in the next post. The information here is images, not text and graphics.

Explanatory Note for Page 2 of the survey of dancers who came to at least one dance in 2022

I haven’t come back to more dances this year because:

  • I no longer live in the greater Sacramento area (if you check this box, please skip the rest of this question)
  • I don’t like the vaccination requirement
  • I don’t like the mask requirement
  • Sunday afternoons don’t work for my schedule
  • Your dance schedule conflicts with other English Country dances same day
  • I’m no longer interested in English Country dancing
  • The dances are too hard
  • The dances are too easy
  • I would come back but I lack transportation
  • I don’t prefer the callers who have been scheduled this year
  • I’m not coming to dances due to the continued health risk (COVID, flu, etc.)
  • None of the above–I’m dancing regularly!
